Parenting Classes

Facilitated by the founder of EtiKids, Julie Tindell (MS, OTR/L, MSEd) will meet weekly with parents and their babies to discuss various topics related to raising a child, incorporating developmentally appropriate practices.  Gain support and meet new friends during this transitional time in your lives with the guidance of our professional staff.  Classes are offered in 10-week sessions and limited to 10 families per class.  Parents may sign up for the entire semester or drop in for a class.  Each class includes time for parents to ask questions and share their own personal experiences with members of the group.  A sample of topics are included below.

 

Eti-infants is open to all parents of children ages 0-3 months old.

  • Fine motor skills -best activities to increase development
Eti-toddlers is an interactive time for parents and toddlers that will foster fine and gross motor skills and cognitive, social/emotional, and language development. Emergent skills will be encouraged and explored, while parents are provided with the tools to refine the skills outside of classes.  Classes will feature sensory exploration, music, emergent literacy, cause and effect, physical development/body awareness, and language development through play.
